What personal data we collect and why we collect it?
The information we collect when you use OmniMobile android app are:
- your email – this is necessary for the app functionality and user experience.
- your name – this is just to look pretty in the app – the app has more personalized feel. We don’t use it actually, everything is done using the email.
- GPS location – If the option is marked in the settings, these data are being collected and shared with the web application. You can ask your supervisor to disable it in the web application and after the next sync the application will stop collecting and sharing these data.
- photos – this is necessary for the app functionality and the app shares only photos made using one of the app’s modules. We don’t care about the photos you have in your phone gallery or any other place.
- files – this is also necessary for the app functionality. Syncing data between web application and android application is based on file exchange. Again, we are using only files created by the application. We don’t care about any other files on your device.
Application OmniMobile stores and processes data provided by the User. The vendor/manufacturer of the application is not responsible for the security of the data in the application. It is the User’s responsibility to protect their device and make access to the application secure, especially if the application contains confidential data. It is the vendor’s/manufacturer’s recommendation not to remove software restrictions and restrictions imposed by the device’s operating system. Such and similar actions could compromise the device’s security features and make your device vulnerable, and could cause OmniMobile application to malfunction or not function at all.
